This talk/workshop on “Respectful relationships, sexual health, and consent” is delivered by Women’s Health and Family Services organisation which aims to provide participants with an understanding of the importance of respectful relationships, sexual health, and consent. It will cover the definition of consent and its different types, the characteristics of healthy relationships, and how to prevent sexual violence.

Participants will also learn about STIs, contraception options, and how to navigate sexual health resources. The workshop will also discuss the dynamics of sexual violence, how to recognize and intervene in situations of potential harm, and how to support survivors. The session will end with practical tips for promoting respectful relationships, sexual health, and consent, as well as resources and support available for individuals seeking help or further education.
