Join us as we explore embroidery techniques, paper manipulation, material types, visual inspirations, and valuable tips. Through this experience, we aim to immortalize memories and knowledge, using embroidery as a means to preserve cherished moments. This workshop not only embraces you but also encourages you to create, discover, and share an unforgettable experience.

Overview: We will learn embroidery and knitting stitches, paper technique, types of materials, visual inspirations, and tips on the technique. We will also explore the beautiful ability to be amazed by what we can create.

Objective: In the Photobordado workshop, we invite you to immortalize a memory and knowledge through a photograph that you wish to intervene using embroidery as a way to cherish the memory. It is an experience that not only embraces you but also invites you to create, discover, and share an unrepeatable moment, such as the transmission of ancestral techniques like embroidery and knitting.

Requirements:
* Good internet connection, a computer or cell phone.
* A printed photograph of any size and type of paper: you can also use postcards, prints, or similar items you have at home. The lower the paper weight, the more likely it is to tear easily. Choose a photo to learn and practice the technique with that you don’t mind if it gets damaged.
* Embroidery threads: the most common ones are skeins (mouliné) or small spools (perlé). But you can work with whatever you have at home, including sewing thread and crochet thread.
* Needles: thin sewing needle for working with few or fine threads, or thicker needle if you want to work with multiple threads or yarn. Crochet needle, type 3.
* Pins with heads.
* Piece of cardboard slightly larger than the photograph.
